Sitting on a hill overlooking the CT River and the hills and Mt Ascutney in the background relax and enjoy the view visible from several rooms including the indoor hot tub or while taking in some fresh mountain air on the deck while you grill or while enjoying a beverage by the fire pit or Adirondack chairs on the .86 acre property.
About This Home:
This single family 5400 sf home sits on .86 acres. It has five spacious bedrooms (3 king, 1 queen, and one bunk bed room). There is a large stocked kitchen with electric stove top, oven, microwave, cooking utensils, baking pans, pots, mugs, glasses, plates and bowls, silverware, seasonings, cutting boards, platters, toaster, blender, etc. There is a coffee bar with Keurig which is stocked with coffee, hot cocoa and sugar packets. There is a trash closet between the kitchen and garage door. There is a dishwasher and pods are provided for that. There is a full size refrigerator in the kitchen and there is a other full size fridge on the lower level near the wet bar. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer with supplied perfume and dye free laundry pods and dryer sheets.
The great room features amazing views, an 85" smart TV, pellet stove and large mini split. The couch and chairs are all recliners and the coffee table top moves up to make for easier snacking or remote working. Speaking of working there is a full office with iMac computer and printer. This room also has spectacular views and the futon in that room opens to a full bed if needed.
On this same level is a full bathroom accessible from the hall, a queen bedroom with mini split, a bedroom with bunk beds and a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and mini split system. All bathrooms are provided with premium cotton towels, organic bath products and egyptian cotton sheets. The master bedroom has a ceiling mounted 65" smart tv.
Also on this level is a large dining table n chairs adjacent to the great room, a billiards room with a chalkboard wall and music via Amazon Echo and a three season screened porch with comfortable seating.
On the lower level there is a wet bar with bar seating, another den with fireplace, indoor shuffleboard, game table, smart tv with karaoke. From that space you enter another full bathroom and two large king bedrooms. These two bedroom also have their own heating independently.
From the bedroom s you go down a hall and enter the sauna room which seats three, has bluetooth and a reading light and heats quickly. Continue from their and you enter the lower sunporch with has a hot tub for two with view of the hills, a bar area and other seating. From this area go thru the sliders to the deck with built in benches, a gas grill, table and chairs (table expands to accommodate more people, adirondack chairs on the lawn and a fire pit.
There is ample parking in the driveway for five vehicles, beautiful perrenials blooming seasonally, oh and did we mention the view!
There are a few ski areas within 30 minutes of the house and ample hiking trails in the area. The center of Bellows Falls is a great little two with coffee shops, antiques, book stores, restaurants and more! The location is a perfect jumping off point to visit lots of different areas of interest as well.
